We help home garage owners and DIY automotive enthusiasts choose the right car lift for the vehicles they actually own, the garage they actually have, and the budget they actually have. Nothing else.
Every product featured on the site has been selected by our editorial team on the basis of safety certifications (ALI/ETL), capacity-to-price ratio, install complexity, and real owner feedback — not affiliate commission rates. Who writes this site
Car Lift For Garage is written and maintained by a small editorial team and published under one byline, Car Lift For Garage Editors. Until October 2026 our pages carried individual pen names. Those were not real, verifiable people, so we retired them. Every page now says plainly how it was researched and what we did not do.
We are not a test lab. We do not buy, install and cycle the lifts we write about. Our work is checking manufacturer specifications and manuals, ALI certification records, garage-fit math (ceiling, bay width, slab) and the owner feedback that exists for lifts sold on Amazon, then turning that into rankings and plain-language guides.
